Translationomics is the study of translatome (whole proteins that are translated by ribosome in cells). 
It is effectively proteome. This is another case of "action ome" while proteome is an "object ome".

It is an example of omics that is not necessary and very useful. Like a randomly generated gene sets, some omics are naturally selected as their functions are distinct and useful while some others do not have any special environmental, molecular and academic niche.

These not-welll-selected omes and omics are called "pseudo-omes" and "pseudo-omics".
